It’s been awhile since I’ve created a blog, so I thought it was finally time for me to sit down and take a break from cookie making and instead focus on helping other cookie decorators sort out some of their cookie decorating problems. Teddy Bear Picnic Cookies for Alfie

“If you go down in the woods todayYou're sure of a big surpriseIf you go down in the woods todayYou'd better go in disguise! For every bear that ever there wasWill gather there for certainBecause today's the day theTeddy Bears have their picnic.” Little Alfie is 1! These cookies started with a white royal icing flooded base. Then I used Americolor red, green and blue sheen airbrush colors to create the Gingham background. I did this by using a stripe stencil, airbrushing with the stripes one direction, waiting for that to dry, then airbrushing the stripes the opposite direction.  On top of the gingham background, I traced teddy bears and their picnic, then filled those traced shapes with white piping...
